This is, almost, the same case with all the smokers. One other interesting thing, in the smoking fraternity, is that no smoker bought his first cigarette by his own. It is always one of his friends who offered the beginner that weird thing. In some cases the beginners steal cigarette from the cigarette case of his father or any elder of the family.

1. Smoking Creates Memory Problems:

Memory –in the human beings- is regarded one of the most precious blessings of Almighty Allah. To realize the essence of memory, imagine yourself –with blank memory- in a street next to your house and want to get back to your home. How would you look asking the guy next door about the location of your home? Just think for a while, you are driving to bank to deposit a check you have received from your employer, and right on the road to bank you forget where you exactly heading? You could not even get help from anyone because nobody on the road can help you about your destination. You are a student and you have studied all the week for the exam paper and right in the examination hall your memory stops helping you with the paper. Would you not be ashamed of getting help from the guy sitting on the next chair and cheating?

There are lots of things in the world around us which either enhance the memory or cause problems with it. Unfortunately, the smoking has negative connections with the memory. It may cloud the mind and fog it. According to numerous recent studies, the smoking –particularly in the middle age- is linked to the problems with the memory and it potentially causes dementia. So, better you protect your memory and never try to do fashion with creating smoke and quite smoking as soon as possible because with quitting smoking, the sooner is the better.

You are thirsty and your refrigerator is filled with juices and soft drinks to help you. But hang on for a while! You cannot enjoy all these blessing except when you are free of diabetes.

Your lighting up dollars NOT cigarettes
4. Financial Aspects of Smoking:

As we spend in very small installments, without keeping records, we never realize how expensive smoking is. The amount we spend of smoking WILL surprise you.

Let’s have a look as one needs not to be a professional accountant to calculate that we light up dollars instead of cigarettes.

In the present time a cigarette pack has an average cost of $5.5 in the United States of America. Now if a person is a pack-per-day-smoker, he will spend $5.5 a day. Multiplying this amount with 365 (total days in a year) will make $2007.5. Multiply this with 10 years and you will have $20070. Is spending a huge amount of $20070 on puffing cigarette, which invites multiple problems, a wise decision? Imagine what can be done with this handsome amount? Further, one will have to spend much more amount on the health care for the health problems caused by smoking. Furthermore, a non-smoker has to pay less for the purpose of health insurance.

Keep in mind these financial considerations –and other countless reasons- and ask yourself any justification for NOT quitting this bad habit?

Bottom line! Quite burning your money away!!

For the good fortune of mankind, our planet is full of many good things which can, minimize –if not eliminate- the problems of day to day life. One of the blessings of Almighty, which He bestowed upon the human being, is green tea, which is rightly considered to be one of the healthiest –if not the healthiest- beverage on the earth. Containing loads of antioxidants and nutrients, green tea has a powerful effect to make on our body.

In the following ten of the too many benefits of green tea are given, which a person –by regular use of it- attain so easily.

Green tea is good for health
1- Green Tea Improves Health:

As it has been said earlier, green tea contains antioxidants, which protects the cells and molecules in our body by reducing the development of free radicals in it. The free radicals play a vital role in aging and all kinds of diseases and sicknesses. Apart from antioxidants, green tea also contains minerals which are much important for the good health of mankind.

In order to achieve the best results, one should be very picky and choose the highest quality brand of green tea. This is because; the lower quality of green tea can possess excessive levels of fluoride. However, using low quality of green tea also brings benefits –though less than the high quality- which, of course, outweigh the risk associated with excessive level of fluoride.

Green tea contributes to Brain Functioning
2. Green Tea Enhances Brain Functions:

People across the globe use coffee to remain mentally active and smart while working, particularly at late night. This is because the caffeine, the basic compound of coffee, blocks the inhibitory neurotransmitter which is called Adenosine, which consequently enables brain to remain active. Further, caffeine contributes to improvement in the brain mood, vigilance, reaction time and memory. There is, however, an adverse effect associated with excessive use of coffee, which as it causes the jittery effects to the brain.

To fill the gap and short coming of coffee, green tea is here to help, because it has more than coffee. Green contains less caffeine –enough in quantity to improve brain functions- which is why it does not cause the jittery effects. Apart from caffeine, green tea contains acid L-theanine which crosses to blood-brain barrier. Furthermore, L-theanine acts as an anti anxiety and it also enhances dopamine and increases the production of alpha waves in the brain. Studies have proven that caffeine and L-theanine, in combination, profoundly improve the functioning of human brain.

So, have green tea, as much as you can and remain active and act smart!

Cancer, along with some other diseases, has become one the leading causes of death across the globe. Cancer –which is caused by the uncontrolled growth of cells– is of several of types, some of which have no cure while others can be cured, if diagnosed and treated at early stages.

Green tea is one of those things which can lower the risk of various types of cancer. This is because, as it is well known, the oxidative damage contributes significantly to the development of cancerous cells in the human body. And, it is also known that, the antioxidant, an ingredient of green tea, can protect the oxidative damage in the body.

That is how the green tea consumption is associated with improved dental health by lowering risks of dental diseases.
